Praise and
Glory be to our Lord and
Saviour Jesus Christ for
seeing us through a fruitful
year 2010,
and renewing us with
the
zeal and strength for
2011. For those who have
been attending the Hokkien
service, had benefited much
in learning the word of God
in Hokkien and building
better relations with the
older folks. The Hokkien
comes in handy when we need
to witness or share God’s
goodness with our relatives
and friends.
Theme for year 2011 :
“
From whom the whole body
fitly joined together and
compacted by that which
every joint supplieth,
according to the effectual
working in the measure of
every part, maketh increase
of the body unto
the edifying of itself in
love.
“
(Eph 4:16b).

May the Lord lay upon your
hearts to be fishers of men.
The Lord has assured us that
“….,
I am with you alway, even
unto the end of the world.
Amen.” Matt. 28:20b
May
the Lord continue to use
this outreach to meet the
following objectives :
1)
provide the fellowship and
witnessing arm for those in
the neighbourhood
who can only
understand Hokkien to know
God.
2) A place where
Hokkien-speaking believers
can worship God together.
3) Encourage and provide a
channel for our church
members to bring their
dialects speaking love ones
to attend church with them
each Lord’s day.

This year we will be studying two books,
namely Philippians and
Ephesians. We pray that many
will come to learn God’s
word in Hokkien using
Mandarin words and also to
learn to sing hymns and
choruses. At the same time,
they also learn the strokes
of writing each Mandarin
word. It is our desire that
members will be grow in the
knowledge of Christ and be
able to read the Bible
themselves eventually. Song
practices are conducted from
2.30pm to 3.30pm. There will
be two cottage meetings,
organise outings and retreat
for a change of environment.
Thank God that through this
ministry we are able to
bring the gospel to the
Hokkien-speaking
neighbourhood, our loved
ones, relatives and friends.
