Dear
Mom and Dad,
The name Awana
is taken from the Bible, and it stands for "Approved
Workmen Are Not Ashamed" (2 Tim 2:15). These words
come from the Apostle Paul's letter written to his young Christian
friend Timothy.
Our goal in
the Awana Club is to help your child benefit spiritually, mentally,
physically, and emotionally from each weekly Awana Club meeting.
(The Club operates only during term time.)
The Awana Club
strives to maintain a caring and loving atmosphere in which spiritual
learning is encouraged. In addition, we also strive to develop important
social skills such as sharing, listening, and social interaction
in your child. It is our hope that your child will receive the firm
spiritual foundation with which to build his/her love for God.
